Can I use my phone in the sea or in the pool?
    A 03
The phone is waterproofed only against tap water. Never soak the phone in liquids other than tap water. If the phone is exposed to seawater, soap, etc., wash under lightly running water (approx. 10cm from the tap or showerhead, at a temperature of 41~95F or 5~35C).Do not scrub while washing, and hold the battery cover, the charging/data port cover, and the headset cover so that they do not open while exposed to water. Q 09
Direction readings produced by the electronic compass are not accurate.
    A 09
Direction readings taken under any of the following conditions may be inaccurate.
    - In cars, trains or motor vehicles
    - Near high-voltage power lines
    - Near Household appliances (computers, etc.)
    - Near permanent magnets.
Determine direction with your phone placed horizontally after calibration. For details, refer to "G'zGEAR" on page 186 of the User Guide.
    Q 10
The compass is not accurate after calibration.
    A 10
Direction readings taken near large metal objects (trains, motor vehicles, etc.) and buildings (especially ferro-concrete structures) may result in highly inaccurate readings. If you suspect that a reading error has occurred, move away from the above locations and retry. For details, refer to "G'zGEAR" on page 186 of the User Guide.
    Q 11
The number of steps counted by the pedometer is different from the actual number taken.
    A 11
As the pedometer employs an acceleration sensor, sensor response may vary from person to person, or according to how the phone is held. The pedometer may also detect the small vibrations generated by some vehicles. Use pedometer results only as a guide.
For details, refer to "G'zGEAR" on page 186 of the User Guide.
    Q 12
The temperature indicated by the thermometer tool is different to the actual temperature.
    A 12
As the thermal sensor is located inside the phone, it cannot instantly detect the temperature of the outside environment. To achieve more accurate readings, expose the phone to open air and wait for a while. Note also that the thermal sensor may be affected by factors such as heat generated by the phone while it is in use, or by body heat.
Use the results of the thermometer only as a guide.
For details, refer to "G'zGEAR" on page 186 of the User Guide.
    Q 13
Where is the microSD card slot located?
    A 13
The microSD card slot is located on the inner side of the battery cover. To insert or remove a microSD card, firstly remove the battery cover and then the battery itself.

    A 18
A capacitive touchscreen panel can fail to sense correctly with even a small amount of water on the screen, and may not respond as intended when wet. After the phone has been exposed to water, wipe off any remaining moisture before use. As the phone will not operate when submerged in water, to prevent any possible issues, turn the power off and lock the screen before soaking.
    Q 19
Will water resistance be maintained provided the battery cover lock is set to the locked position?
    A 19
Before locking the slide-type battery cover, be sure to do the following:

    2) Firmly close both the headset connector port cover and the charging data port cover.
    Q 20
The camera is turned on but nothing is displayed.
    A 29
Check that you are not covering the lens with your fingers.
This often occurs when inputting text, due to the way the phone is typically held or lens cover with smudges from fingers can cause blurry pictures with a “halo” effect.
    Q 21
What are the two Black seals near the battery locker, which are visible when the battery cover is removed?
    A 21
These are RF seals. Never remove RF seals, as doing so may cause product failure.
    Q 22
How do I format a microSD card?
    A 22
You can only format a microSD card when it is unmounted.
【Unmounting a microSD card】To unmount a microSD card, follow the instructions below: Settings>Storage>Unmount SD card

For details, refer to "Erase all data from a microSD card" on page 105 of the User Guide.
Be sure to backup necessary data before formatting.
    Q 23
An application cannot be installed; a thumbnail is not displayed in Gallery; the picture does not appear in slide shows, etc.
    A 23
There may not be enough space on the microSD card. Check the space available on the microSD card, then delete or move unnecessary data to other storage devices.
    Q 24
It takes a long time to move to the screen-lock display after power on.
    A 24
Having a large number of applications installed delays startup time. Where this is the case, please remove any unnecessary applications.
    Q 25
I cannot insert my headset plug into the headset jack.
    A 25
Some headset plugs may be unusable depending on its external
    dimensions. (Compatible size: MaxO9.0)
    Q 26

    A 26
Charging a phone from a PC takes longer than from a wall charger. If in a hurry, charge from a wall charger.
    Q 27
Even when a microSD card is inserted, certain functions and applications cannot be used.
    A 27
When USB mode is set to Charge only, you cannot use certain functions and applications.
[Steps]To change USB mode, connect your phone to a PC via USB cable, then change USB mode from 'Settings>USB>USB Connection>Charge only'. For details, refer to "Connecting to a PC via USB" on page 100 of the User Guide.
    Q 28
FM state radio reception is poor, I can not hear clearly.
    A 28
When you listen to FM radio, do you use a headset? The headset works as an antenna for FM radio. Even when you listen with a speaker, please connect the headset too.
    Q 29
I will not be able to use the NFC.
    A 28
Make sure if the battery cover is closed tightly. Also, if you want to use NFC, you need to use SIM card which had NFC function. If so, please check the setting whether NFC is "On" in device as below.
    Menu>Settings>More…>NFC on
When you use it, you need to touch it battery cover side to POS terminal or tag.
If device is near other credit card which have similar function, please keep separate it.
    Q 30
    Wireless charging does not work.
    A 30
Make sure if the battery cover is closed tightly. Also, a wireless charger needs a special lid provided only for wireless charger. It's not available to charge wirelessly by using other types of lids.
If it does not work, please double confirm battery by USB cable charger.
    Q 31
Barometric pressure sensor readings is not accurate.
    A 31
The values should be considered as approximate rather than accurate.
    Q 32
